Features Of The 223 Series Include

  • New common model # 6-HSV-223 RH1 PQS79.
  • 73 ft-lbs of torque over the entire RPM range — suitable for diesel engines 8-30 litres in displacement and gaseous fuel engines over 8+ litres.
  • New HSV starter with integrated “Soft Start” eliminates mounting an external soft start block.
  • HSV model with integrated “Soft Start” allows complete protection of the engine ring gear and starter pinion by “pre-engaging” the pinion, eliminating the shock load of a typical hydraulic starter. Because of the friction clutch drive and soft start it offers high level of protection against operator error (ie; engaging into a running engine).
  • New common model # allows the same starter to be installed on many of the common engines used on well servicing equipment (CAT3300 and 3400 Series, Cummins QSK30, MTU Engines) without any modifications (same part number works with other engines)
  • New common model # allows the same starter to be installed on many of the common engines used for gas compression (CAT3300 and 3400 Series, Waukesha VGF F11, F18 and H24) without any modifications (same part number works with other engines)
  • Pinion housing rotates in 30° increments allowing for installation flexibility.
